About Dr (TCM) Angelo D'Alberto

I started practising acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine after receiving a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004. This was a 5 year full time undergraduate program jointly run by Middlesex University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and included a 5 month internship in 2 hospitals in Beijing.

Since graduating I have specialised in the treatment of infertility and gynaecology and using acupuncture as a support for couples undergoing IVF treatment. I have been privileged to help hundreds of couples to conceive and achieve their dreams of starting a family.

I’m passionate about using this ancient traditional medical system, which is truly holistic, and applying it to patients in a modern clinical setting to achieve their optimal health and wellbeing. Chinese medicine is essentially based upon Daoism, which is about living in harmony within our environment - consuming the right food and drinks, getting the right amount of exercise, wearing the right clothes for the weather, having a balanced emotional state, etc. Where things go wrong, acupuncture and herbal medicine step in to correct any imbalances formed and restore the person to optimal health.

I’m a member of the British Acupuncture Council and Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, who are 2 of the biggest organisations for acupuncturists and herbalists who have undertaken comprehensive training in these fields. All members are bound by a strict code of ethics and conduct and are professionally insured.
